Treating Yeast Infection Because of Antibiotics:The Truth

Treating yeast infection because of antibiotics has become extremely ordinary among young patients. Many factors can change the way you treat your yeast infection. Depending on how severe it is or where it is located, you will use different yeast infection treatments, from probiotics to lozenges or antifungal creams. Let's have a look at the different options you have if you want to treat yeast infection because of antibiotics.

Antibiotics are probably the leading cause of vaginal yeast infection. American scientists state that when you misuse antibiotics, it can alter the way your system reacts. This is why so many people nowadays seem to be seeking treatment for yeast infection because of antibiotics.

To cut a long story short, antibiotics, which are taken to get rid of the bad bacteria in our body, can have a reverse effect. They can inconspicuously kill some of the good agents in our body, creating an imbalance which will result in the apparition of yeast infection.

Yeast infection signs can be hard to detect but it is the very first step you need to undertake before thinking about treating anything. Do you really have yeast infection? If it's a case of recurring yeast infection, you will easily identify the symptoms: white thick discharge, rash, tiredness, loss of appetite, etc. They all vary depending on the severity and the location of the yeast infection.

To treat yeast infection because of antibiotics, you can try to get your inner-balance back by focusing on a healthy diet. Eating active-culture yogurt can be a yeast infection cure in itself and can prevent chronic yeast infections from returning as often.

If you want to be successful in your fight to beat yeast infection because of antibiotics, you need to get your inner-balance back on track. In this regard, eating yogurt is the number one choice of many patients who are looking for a yeast infection remedy. Yogurt contains Lactobacillus acidophilus, a bacterium that kills yeast by producing hydrogen peroxide.

In order to have a better control over your body and no reliance on medical establishment, it is suggested to avoid over-the-counter medication when it is not indicated, in order to lessen the risks of misuse. Escalating to more powerful fungicides is an option you want to consider only if the yeast infection is severe.

Natural cures for yeast infection are very safe. They can restore the balance in your body and help you keep the infection at bay for a very long time. If you want to treat yeast infection because of antibiotics, you also need to maintain a healthy diet and look into your daily routine to prevent it from happening again. Only the balanced combination of natural treatments and healthy diet will bring significant results.

The Many Causes Of Hair Loss In Women

Hair loss in women is most often very gradual and is more easily affected by hormonal changes, medical conditions, and external factors. Hair loss in women is no less distressing than in men. In fact many women become very self conscious about their thinning hair and can very uncomfortable in the presence of others.

Around two thirds of women have some type of hair loss at one point or another in their lives. Unlike men, women do not usually go bald. More often women's hair loss is limited to the thinning of the hair especially around the crown area. A receding hair line is rare in women. Thinning for most women usually appears around middle age, which is when most women begin to produce less estrogen. However, thinning hair can begin for some women at a much younger age. It usually starts with the hair follicle becoming thinner, revealing more skin. Then the hair will begin to fall out at a rate that is higher than one hundred strands a day (fifty to one hundred is typical hair loss).

Reasons for hair loss include physical, emotional, and genetic conditions. Hair loss can occur from many common causes that most women do not even think of. The causes are varied and can depend on many factors. Here are some of the more common factors so you can identify what may be causing your hair loss.

The most common is stress. The number of women who suffer from stress and hair loss is growing. Our daily lives are full of stressful activities concerning the job, the home, family, friends and relatives. Stress leads to various health conditions which cause hair loss. Traumatic events such as surgery, death of a family member, divorce, or shock after an accident, can cause female hair loss.

Also, taking a new medication, such as high blood pressure medications, birth control pills, antidepressants, and blood thinners, may make your hair fall out as well, so if it is three months after you started taking these pills (three month is how long it will take for you to notice a major change) and your hair is falling out you may want to call your doctor.

Along with stress and medication, another reason for hair loss could include: poor diet, sudden weight loss, lack of proper nutrition, iron deficiency, vitamin deficiency, thyroid imbalance, major illness, chemotherapy, ringworm, and some fungal infections.

Hormonal changes in the body are a common cause of hair loss for women, such as the increase of testosterone occuring during menopause. Progesterone is another hormone that precisely targets the hair during menopause. Progesterone levels decrease due to the lack of ovulation in the female body. It compensates by producing extra androstenedione, which prevents hair growth. Usually hair will return to its original thickness following menopause.

Coming off birth control pills and pregnancy can cause hair loss. Women may experience hair loss 2-3 months after having a baby.

Harsh hair treatment such as pulling with brushes, tight braiding and styling with irons and straighteners can be a cause of female thinning hair. Thinning hair can also be the result of chemicals in certain styling products.

Finding what has caused your hair loss will greatly increase your chances of finding the right treatments to help re-grow your hair.

Discover the Compacted Facts about Oily Skin Care

You've probably heard it a hundred times. Good oily skin care has one overriding focus--the maintenance of keeping it clean. Clean skin contains less oil. It facilitates development of a clear complexion. Some oily skin care products offer those with this dilemma an effective way to cleanse the pores.

Such products gently lift the oil from the pores. They give the skin a chance to "breathe." Other oily skin care products remove dead cells from the surface of the face. If allowed to stay, those dead cells could work their way into the pores. Bacteria could then feed themselves from those dead skin cells.

No article about oily skin care would be complete without mention of the word "bacteria." The oil and dead cells in pores can create an inviting home for bacteria. When bacteria begin to grow on the skin, it becomes red and infected. Those two features have come to represent two of the best-known characteristics of being acne-prone.

Why do some people have such oiliness? Some people have been blessed with especially active sebaceous glands. The nose has some of the largest and most active sebaceous glands on the body. The neck, chest and back also contain areas with large and active sebaceous glands.

The amount of oil produced by a person's sebaceous glands is determined by his or her DNA. Our genes direct the production of our hormones. The chemicals in hormones stimulate oil production in the sebaceous glands. Our genes also influence the speed and the extent to which each sebaceous gland responds to the body's hormones.

In other words, genetics determines who will need to pay closest attention to the available information about oily skin care. Those who take the time to read such information will get some good news. This type of skin does not mature as rapidly as other types. People with skin that is oily seem able to hold-off the appearance of wrinkles.

Of course that does not mean that those with this type of skin will never age. People with these problems, however, do need to use anti-aging products on their skin. Therefore, their chosen oily skin care products should include products that can also help to retard its aging as well.

Such products should contain collagen. As found in nature, the protein called collagen has a fiber-like quality. That protein gives the skin an added amount of strength. It causes it to feel firmer.

Good anti-aging products also contain elastin. Elastin is a protein that gives the skin flexibility. By learning about the function of collagen and elastin, an older adult can better appreciate the extent to which both proteins prevent the appearance of aging.

Firm skin does not wrinkle and sag. When flexible, it has the ability to return to its original position, even after is has been pulled and stretched. Firm and flexible skin contains an adequate amount of collagen and elastin.

When adults purchase for oily skin care, they need to look for products that can stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. Older adults do not benefit from using a product that can only fill-in the spaces between any wrinkle lines that have developed.

By using the proper oily skin care products, adults can have a healthier glow. They can enjoy looking in the mirror. They can expect to see in the mirror a face with a more youthful visage.

The Different Forms of Liposuction

Over the short time that Liposuction has been available different techniques have emerged, it is useful to be clear on what the varying forms of procedure are. The procedure have become safer and more advanced as their popularity has grown. What distinguishes the different forms of liposuction is the type of surgical instruments used, the amount of solution that is injected under the skin and the usage of anaesthesia

There are six common forms of liposuction procedure; they are listed here in the order of the safest and least likely to cause the patient discomfort:.

Tumescent Liposuction

This procedure is by far the safest of all the procedures because it causes the patient the least discomfort, an intravenous drip is usually unnecessary; the patient does not need a general anaesthetic. This lack of general anaesthetic means that the risk of serious health risks to the patient is greatly reduced; there is a lesser amount of blood lost than other operations. The injection requires an injection of, saline, epinephrine and lidocaine. The patient is conscious during the operation.

Ultrasonic Assisted Liposuction (UAL)

This procedure is performed either under heavy sedation or under general anesthesia; the procedure uses ultrasonic energy to breakdown areas of the patient's fat, the fat is then removed. The surgeon uses a metal probe and a generous amount of tumescent fluid. The technique is beginning to become rarer as there is a risk of serious scaring and burns if errors are made by the surgeon..

Power Assisted Liposuction (PAL)

The surgeon uses a long, small tube which is hollow in order to draw the fatty tissue from the area undergoing treatment; the tube is powered by compressed air or in some cases by a small electric motor. By using a rapid motion the surgeon splits the fat cells from the rest of the body. This enables the surgeon to target the area of treatment more directly. For this procedure the patient will either be under heavy sedation or under local anesthesia.

Super Wet Liposuction

The "super wet" differs from the "wet" by the surgeon's use of a general anaesthetic, as well as a diluted injection of local anaesthesia. This technique is superior to both the wet and the dry techniques because the blood loss is markedly less than both of them. But the procedure still involves a higher level of blood loss than the tumescent technique.

Wet Liposuction

The wet technique is a procedure which uses a local anaesthetic combined with epinephrine, which is injected directly into the fatty areas of the patient; the local anaesthetic obviously lessened the discomfort to the patient. But again, excessive blood loss occurs in some cases and as a result it is rarely used by practitioners of liposuction.

Dry Liposuction

The dry technique is now consigned to the history of cosmetic surgery as no local anaesthetic was used during the procedure. Also this form of liposuction had the highest amount of blood loss of any of the procedures.

Consulting a surgeon or clinician

When considering any procedure you should ensure you have a consultation, with the surgeon who will perform the procedure. The consultation itself should be with a medical professional, either a surgeon or a nurse. They will explain the nature of the procedure to you and exactly what it will involve. It is important that you make an informed decision and that you allow yourself enough time after the consultation to make a considered choice. Ensure that all surgeons are registered with the General Medical Council.

Tips For Choosing Colors For Your Wedding

Whatever your wedding style or theme is, don't forget the importance of choosing the right colors for your wedding. Here are some tips:

Symbolic Colors

Every color symbolizes something. Many colors symbolize one thing in one culture and another for a different culture. A good example of this is the color purple, in some nations, purple is the color of royalty. However, in some cultures, purple signifies death. This is why lavender, which is a lighter shade of purple, tends to be more chosen for weddings than the deeper shade of purple. White is the most often used color for weddings, since it symbolizes, purity, good and light. The color blue signifies trust and loyalty, so it is also popular in many different shades for a wedding. Green is the color of nature and trees and signifies growth, harmony and fertility. Yellow and its brighter shades are associated with happiness, joy and energy. Red is a powerful color and signifies different things in it's many shades. Stay away from dark red as it is associated with anger and rage. Other shades of red are associated with love, passion, desire and romance. Brown is associated with stability and masculinity and may be a good contrasting color.

Whatever colors you choose, you may want to consider their meanings and symbolism before making a decision.

Theme Colors

If you have a theme, then your wedding colors will usually be determined by the theme. For instance, a western wedding might have a mocha and white theme. Or an Asian wedding may have a pink and white theme of cherry blossoms. For a fantasy wedding, just about anything goes.

Seasonal Colors

If your wedding is around a holiday or during a certain season, then your colors may want to reflect that. For instance, a fall wedding should have deeper, richer colors using reds, oranges, browns, golds and bronze. A spring wedding should use paler shades of bright colors and pastels. A summer wedding should have bolder, brighter, primary colors. A winter wedding can have a contrasting or monochromatic palette, but should avoid the typical colors of the other seasons, with a use of many different shades of greys, blues, whites, browns and black. For most seasons, accents with gold and silver are almost always suitable.

Color Scheme

If you don't have a theme for your wedding or are not basing it around a certain flower or other object, then make sure to use a color choosing tool to help you choose contrasting or monochromatic colors for your wedding. Similar to a paint choosing tool that you would use for choosing paint for a room, a paint choosing tool will help you find appropriate contrasts and accents for your favorite colors.

Once you have your color scheme, you can start choosing the decorations, the cake, favors, invitations and everything else. Choosing the colors for your wedding should be one of the first things you do when you start the planning process.

Does Anti Wrinkle Eye Cream Work?

Interested to know how an anti wrinkle eye cream may affect a happy, healthy life? Read on!

Do you know that wrinkles are the surest sign of a happy life? Though wrinkles appear from the usual wear and tear of aging, the act of smiling has the greatest impact on the formation of wrinkles. This is because when we smile, we flex the muscles surrounding the mouth, which draws skin tight across the surface of our face. This pressure can lead to worn creases in your skin, which result in the wrinkles associated with aging.

Physiologist Guillaume Duchenne’s work on the physiology of the human face proved that when we smile out of happiness, we strongly exercise the muscles surrounding our eyes. This “Duchenne smile” is the surest physiological indicator of genuine happiness, and results in crow’s feet, as well as laugh lines around the mouth. While a natural product of a genuinely happy life, these facial effects can cause some to be conscious of their smile, trying to avoid undue wear of the face and skin. But why hide your smile? Advances in anti wrinkle eye cream have made smile line treatment a simple and effective process.

Understanding that the human smile affects the eyes especially, new creams have been designed to directly affect the skin around the eyes. Applied in gel form under and over the eyes, these topical solutions affect the sites that are affected most by a lifetime of laughter and smiles. Addressing other eye issues as well, from puffy eyes and dark bags, these treatments correctly target your eyes as the most important part of your face. With healthier, more vibrant skin around your eyes, you will have no reason to hide your happiness from the world.

When considering a face cream that will support your needs, ask yourself: Does this anti wrinkle eye cream address the needs of my skin, or does it simply treat my wrinkles as a problem that needs solving? While all wrinkle creams claim to address the visible signs of aging, it takes an understanding of the function of the human face, and of human emotion, to properly treat these signs of wear. Look for a product that addresses your smile, and understands your need for healthier, happier skin.

Historically, the human smile has been a site of wonder and delight. From the Mona Lisa’s enigmatic half-smile to the goofy grin of the Cheshire Cat, our smiles carry our personalities, and convey our happiness to those around us. The act of smiling is simple, natural, and universally recognized by every culture in the world. Why cut the world off from your happiness and joy, just because of a few simple creases? Consider anti wrinkle eye cream today, and give yourself a new reason to smile!

The Good And Bad Of Hair Extensions

Like everything else in the world today, hair extensions are accompanied by a wide array of good and bad. It's ridiculous to go and spend hours at a salon and expect to go home as if you magically grew 12 inches of your own hair.

After having your new extensions done, there are a few things your going to have to do to help your stylist maintain your fresh new locks.

Make sure you're prepared for the following BEFORE you take your trip to the salon:

* Be ready to spend a good chunk of your hard earned cash! Good quality hair extensions don't come cheap. It's better to spend the time and ask your stylist what type of extensions suit your needs then to waste your money on something you're going to regret in the end. A good stylist will be well informed and appreciate your questions, so don't hesitate to ask questions.

* Hair extensions can be damaging to the hair. This isn't true in all cases though. There are many different methods for adding and removing extensions that will not damage your natural hair. There are no 100% guarantees on this however! Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. Not all hair salons provide fully trained stylists. Make sure the salon you go to specializes in hair extensions; this will better your odds of leaving with the look you were hoping for.

* Headaches are possible for the first few days. Depending on the method and type of hair extensions you decide to have done, mild headaches can occur. The extra weight of hair extensions have been known to add pressure to the neck and cause mild headaches. If you opted for sewn in extensions, problems also arise when the hair is sewn in too tightly near the scalp. These aren't major issues, but definitely something to consider.

* You will need to spend more time taking care of your hair. People with long hair have to spend a lot more time caring for it. One of the most important things after having your hair done is conditioning. If you normally don't use conditioner in your hair, get into the habit of doing it now! Long hair requires extra moisturizing and conditioning, hair extensions are no different. Your new extensions are nothing more than an addition to your already existing hair. Proper treatment is critical to protect your own natural hair as well as your new investment.

These are just a few of the things that are important to think about before diving into the world of hair extensions. Yes, having long beautiful hair is every woman's dream. Just remember that with every dream, reality is soon to follow!

Choosing the right stylist with the proper experience is critical to having this type of hair procedure done. Don't be afraid to ask questions about any concerns that you might be having prior to actually having it done. A properly trained hair specialist will appreciate the concern and have the answers that you're looking for.

Are Hair Plugs the Right Choice For You?

It is estimated that two out of three men and one out of five women suffer from hair loss. It can be very depressing and most affected individuals try to cover up their balding spots with wigs and other camouflage attempts. Some use growth stimulators and hormone inhibitors. Some are satisfied with these treatments, but a lot more aren't. Many find that wigs and hairpieces don't look genuine and take too much time to maintain. Growth Stimulators and Hormone inhibitors on the other hand may be effective, but they need to be taken or used daily. That can take a lot of time, and who has that much time on their hands now a days?

The only plausible solution is Hair Replacement Surgery. But, is getting hair plugs the right decision for you? Read the segments below as they will help you determine whether or not hair replacement surgery is the right option for you.

What is Hair Replacement Surgery?

Hair Replacement Surgery is the surgical procedure of transplanting healthy hair roots into bald areas. As a result, the transplanted hair grows in their new location and the patient is given a semblance of normal hair growth. Hair replacement is performed in a sterile environment and the patient is placed under local or general anesthesia.

Who are the best candidates for Hair Replacement Surgery?

The best candidates for Hair Replacement are those individuals that have prominent bald spots, but still have a healthy crop of hair growing in some areas of the scalp. However, hair replacement surgery is not possible for patients suffering from total baldness. The reason for that is because plastic surgeons need a donor area to get healthy hair from. If there is no donor site, then Hair Replacement is not possible.

With regard to age, hair replacement surgery is recommended to men in their 40s who suffer from male pattern baldness. Burn Victims may also get hair transplants in order to revitalize hair growth in burn areas. Women may also get hair replacement surgery. Young adults may also be candidates for the procedure, but it depends on the circumstances of baldness.

How Hair Replacement Works

There are different types of hair replacement surgery. The most common is done with the use of punch grafts and slit grafts. It works by taking grafts from donor areas and transplanting them into the bald spots. This method usually takes a series of surgeries before a natural look is achieved. It may take up to 2 years before the procedure is concluded.

Another type of Hair Replacement involves scalp reduction and balloon inflation. With scalp reduction, the patient's bald spots are removed and the areas with healthy hair are stretched over to fill the gap. Balloon inflation involves inserting a saline balloon underneath the part of the scalp with healthy hair growth. This is done in order to stretch the healthy scalp, thus providing more skin to cover the gap left by scalp reduction. Balloon Inflation and Scalp Reduction usually gives quicker results that grafting.

Side Effects

There are minimal side effects to hair replacement surgery. It may include acute headaches and pain after surgery. All that can be taken care of with pain medication. The patient may also suffer from infection, but again, that can be dealt with medicine.

The Truth About Anti Aging Skin Care Treatment

Anti aging skin care treatment is very popular right now. It seems everyone is a skin care guide or has one you must faithfully use. Here's a shocking truth: Most of what you hear is a lot of inaccurate statements or just a bunch of advertising hype.

Skin Care and the Sun

Of course, the sun can cause damage to your skin. So can poison in your food. Bacteria in your water. We don't need some so called expert to tell us that. What we need is the truth about what can we do to protect our skin from overexposure to the sun. Is there a genuine anti aging skin care treatment that really works?

SPF Factor

Most of these skin care guides will tell you to use a sunscreen with no less than a SPF 15 factor. What they don't tell you is that SPF factor is possibly damaging to your body. That you can protect your skin without using any SPF. If you do choose to use an SPF factor, an SPF 15 is plenty.

UV Sun Ray Exposure

Skin cells quickly lose COQ10 when exposed to UV sun rays. CoQ10 is a vitamin-like material that can be found everywhere in the body. C0Q10 destroys what is called free radicals, therefore, it is an antioxidant. The UV rays will cause an increase in the production of free radicals in the body. Too many free radicals can cause a lot of damage to the cells, even skin cells. CoQ10 in an anti aging skin care treatment is thought to fight off these damaging free radicals.

Exfoliating - Microdermabrasion

These two methods remove skin- the outer layer. So why are they promoted? Here's the truth: They shouldn't be used. Here's why: When you get older, your skin doesn't get thicker but just the opposite it gets thinner. Scraping off more skin from already thin skin is just unwise or maybe crazy. That is unless you like sore, red irritated skin.

A better way is to take a softer route. When you use a hydrating mask it can have a nourishing effect on your face leaving it much smoother and a lot cleaner. What it does is removes the dead cells not the live ones. Any one that tells you to exfoliate, get up and leave. They know nothing about anti aging skin care and zero about skin care guide.

Expensive Products - Not the Answer

You would think that if you paid a lot of money for something it should be the best and do the job better than cheaper priced skin care products. Research has shown that many if not most of the top skin care products have very little active ingredients. Don't let price be your skin care guide.

Collagen- Consider the Source

Collagen, and very little at that, is a common ingredient many companies use. It's not expensive because it comes from sources like cow hide. Also, collagen from sources like this simply doesn't do any good. It doesn't work because it just won't penetrate the skin like it must if it is too be effective.

The average skin care treatment by many companies is to use "purified water", paraffin and some sort of fragrance. This "treatment" will make your skin feel smoother and moister, but it will rob your skin of its natural oils and eventually it will feel drier than ever. Feeling smoother is not the only result you want in an anti aging skin care treatment.

Some companies, and I found only one so far, that really want to bring to you a product that you can afford. One that has been researched enough to be effective. This one company would rather spend its money on finding ingredients that benefit your skin instead of spending wildly on advertising. Here's one such example.

Functional Keratin Sea Algae CoQ10 Vitamin E

Functional keratin help promote an increase of collagen and elastin. Also sea algae will nourish and support skin cell production along with elasticity. CoQ10 and Vitamin E will repair damage caused by the sun. A company who truly cares about your anti aging skin care will include these ingredients and assure you they are from a quality source. Again I found only one such company. Hopeful others will follow their example.

What Causes Hair Loss in Women

Women who lose their hair suffer far more from their hair loss than men. For women the loss of their hair can be a tragic and horrific experience. Women are raised to fix their hair and fuss over the style and look of the hair on their heads. If a woman loses her hair her self-esteem will take an extremely large blow. Society tends to look at a woman by the way that she looks, whether that is appropriate or not.

Girls learn from their older siblings or their mom how they are supposed to look and behave. When a girl sees older girls or her mom fussing over her hair and spending an inordinate amount of time on her appearance she will believe that is the correct way to behave for a woman.

That same young girl will feel terribly self conscious if she grows up to lose her hair. She will no longer be able to look in the mirror and see the woman she is supposed to be.

Hair loss in women is very common. This has caused a great deal of research and treatments to be developed for female hair loss. You can ask your doctor for the causes of your hair loss.

Women will lose their hair for many different reasons than men. Men will lose their hair based on genetic factors and in women it is generally different reasons.

The main reasons for hair loss in women is illness, diet, stress, hormones and medications. Stress is the biggest reason why a woman will lose her hair. If you are experiencing a hair loss you should work to reduce the amount of stress in your life.

Women today live very stressful lives. From trying to hold down a job and take care of the needs of their family they are facing a very busy and demanding schedule. Keeping everything on an even keel and well balanced is a struggle that many women battle every day. Many women will begin to find it difficult to take care of themselves while they are trying to take care of everything else. Her diet may suffer and she will not get the proper rest that her body requires.

Hair needs nutrition to be strong and healthy. If you neglect the nutrition in your diet you hair will begin to suffer the consequences.

It is a good idea to make an appointment with your doctor if you are suffering from hair loss. The cause could be an undiagnosed illness. Your doctor can make a determination if the cause of your hair loss is illness. There might be a treatment for the condition that is causing your hair loss.

As a woman gets older her hair will begin to thin. Many times the hair will also begin to fall out. This hair loss will usually begin to happen at around fifty. There are options for this type of hair loss. Visit with a dermatologist to find a solution that will work for you.

Hormone changes can also cause a hair loss in some women. You can usually find a good option from your doctor for this type of hair loss. Doctors can find solutions for hormones that have gotten out of balance.

Medications will also cause a hair loss in some women. You should know the side effects of any medication that you are taking. If you are experiencing a hair loss, check with your doctor to determine if the medication is the cause. There may be some substitutions that can be made.

Do You Really Need An Anti Wrinkle Firming Cream? Straight Talk From A Beauty Expert.

Chances are if you're reading this article, you are most likely on the look out for an anti wrinkle firming cream. You may not like what I'm about to tell you, but I'm going to give it to you straight. When it comes to an anti wrinkle firming cream, or any of the myriad of anti aging wrinkle creams on the market, most likely none of them are going to work for you in the long term!

Stay with me for a few minutes, because I do have some good news for you. There is no one anti wrinkle firming cream that will give you the long term results that you want. If you're like most people you are going to need several different products working together to get your skin looking good, and to reduce or get rid of those fine lines and wrinkles.

You are not going to get overnight results with a single product, that's a fact. You may be able to hide wrinkles, but they will still be there in the morning. It took your skin years to start showing the signs of aging. So if you really want to improve the health of your skin and reduce wrinkles it's going to take a little work, time, and the right combination of skin care products.

Big companies are promoting anti aging wrinkle creams because it's big business. They lead you to believe that they have the magic bullet when it comes to an anti wrinkle firming cream. They don't have your best interest in mind. Just take a look at some of the ingredients: alcohol which actually dries out your skin and will make wrinkles worse. Alcohol is a cheap filler ingredient that is used to increase profits. Paraffin which is a wax that doesn't allow your skin to breathe. These are just a few cheap ingredients that can be found in an anti wrinkle firming cream. Also there are many man made chemicals that are cheap to produce. Chances are if it's a chemical you can't pronounce you don't want it on your skin.

So here's what you need to do. As I mentioned above, you want to look for a combination of products working together to correct the problem and then when it's under control help keep it that way. If you do it this way you will get much better results and it will cost you less in the long run. Isn't that what you really want?

You could need as many as five different products. I suggest you start with an eye contour gel to reduce wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness around your eyes. You want one that will not irritate the skin which is very common due do harsh chemicals. Next you should consider an age-defense active day cream, a restorative night cream, a deep active hydrating mask, a deep active cleansing mask. Products such as these will reduce wrinkles and firm up your skin.

This sounds like a lot of hassle; however some of these items are not used every day. A few of them only need to be used every few weeks. Finally an age defense active body lotion can be used to keep your skin in good shape.

Look for products that are plant based and that have as many natural ingredients as possible such as natural Vitamin E, Macadamia nut, and avocado oils. Developing a Beauty Routine That Works

Women want to look their best. There are also increasing numbers of men who are interested in this and who are spending more time on taking care of their skin and their hair. Since this is the case it is important to find the beauty routine that works for you. Just seeing something on television or the Internet that looks promising is often not enough. Just because it works well on the person who is trying it or just because it looks good on the model does not mean that it will work the same way for everyone. The mistake that many people make is that they hear about a particular beauty treatment or routine and the person who uses it says how wonderful it is. Because of that these people try that routine - often spending a lot of money on products - and they find that the products do not work for them in the same way that they worked for the other person. This is disappointing and can be very frustrating, not to mention expensive as well.

Instead of wasting valuable time and money on something like that, you should spend time finding what will be the best choice for your skin type and what you are trying to accomplish. Some people have skin which is very dry and they need to moisturize it very frequently. Other people have oily skin and they need a way to dry it out. Still others have other types of problems such as acne, scars, or wrinkles that they want to minimize without drastic treatment options. With this being a concern for them they should not just buy the first generic beauty product that they see, even if it is supposedly guaranteed to fix their problem. Thanks to the Internet you can now find all kinds of reviews and opinions on virtually everything. You should make your own decisions but reading the opinions of others can help to give you an idea of whether you think a product might work well for you. It can aid in making your decision and choosing the right options instead of wasting your money.

Another thing to do is to pay attention to product labels. A lot of people have allergies and if this is the case for you it might be better for you to get products that are all natural so that they do not have a lot of harsh chemicals in them. These kinds of chemicals can cause everything from minor irritations to serious reactions. It is much better to be safe than sorry, and you can still find everything you need to protect and restore your skin. Getting products to use on your skin cannot and will not equal surgical results but they are a good alternative for people who are not interested in plastic surgery, cannot afford it, or do not really need it. Minor lines and wrinkles can be lessened and some elasticity and natural glow can be restored to skin by determining what products are best for you, shopping for the best deals on those products, and then using them faithfully.

The Yuko Hair Straightening Process

Yuko hair straightening is a good alternative to hot irons and causes less damage to the hair; in fact it can turn damaged hair into healthy glossy hair. It can be expensive but the results when done well speak for themselves.

The Yuko System was developed in Japan created by Yuko Yamashita back in 1970. It is a permanent hair straightening system which works on most hair types and leaves your hair straight glossy smooth and straight. Compared to straighening irons which have to be used nearly every day to create straight hair, the yuko system lasts between 8 and 12 months and only needs to be redone when you have significant hair growth. Your hair has to be at least 4 or 5 inches long for the system to work and can be done on coloured hair.

Yuko is highly favoured by professionals and celebrities; it actually restores damaged hair, straightens frizzy curly and wavy hair, leaving a radiant shine and very natural healthy finish.

The process can take anywhere from 3 to 5 hours depending on the length and condition of the hair. The cost can be anywhere between £300 to £600. The success of this treatment is very dependant on the expertise of the hairdresser performing it.

So how is it done?

The first process is to wash and condition the hair normally then spray on a pH balanced "hair water" solution which is in preparation for the neutralising solution. Then pr-treatment protect is applied to your hair to prevent it from being damaged. Next a mild ammonium thioglycolate solution is applied which effectively breaks down the protein bonds of the hair shaft, leaving it week and stretchy. The solution is left on for about 15 minutes. Then the solution is washed out and then the hair is straightened using special flat irons that activate collagen and keratin and dries the hair in the process, all be it with a lot of steam. This is the longest process as they use the irons on very small sections of the hair and depending on the length of your hair it could take up to 2 hours or more. Once finished and dry the hair will be straight but there is another process to it. They then add a gel like substance and left it in for 10 minutes. After this the hair is rinsed and dried and that's when the miracle kicks in. The hair is dried straight and the irons come out again to 'seal' it and ensure that all moisture is extracted from it. Process complete! The result is pretty amazing, no frizz, straight and silky, knot free and glossy. The perfect straight hair you've always dreamed off.

If you are convinced that the Yuko Hair straightening is for you then ensure you enlist the expertise of a hair salon that has plenty of experience in doing this system. If you look around the net you will see lots of reviews where the treatment went wrong because the person doing it was not experienced enough. If in doubt why not ask the salon for a phone number of one of their previous customers that had the Yuko treatment successfully. If they have nothing to hide and have many happy customers they should be able to provide this, although they should ask the customer if they mind someone phoning them.

If you can't afford the Yuko hair straightening system why not try a home kit. Good old Boots have one which is based on the Yuko treatment at the fraction of the price. It is only 14.99 and promises to permanently straightening hair, leave your hair stronger than before and leaves it in superb condition and shine.

Six Tips To Avoid Fashion And Beauty Mishaps On Your Wedding

Every bride has a dream wedding in mind. Regardless of whether it is classic or modern, elegant or simple, beach or fantasy, the bride wants to be the center of attention during her wedding. As this is her day to say "I do", she wants everyone to look and stare at her in awe. But even with this goal in mind, many brides tend to commit various fashion and beauty faux pas. Unfortunately, their mistakes are often caught on tape and are remembered by many for years to come.

If you want to be a bride that will be remembered with awe and inspiration, follow these tips below:

1. Get Easy On The Tan

If you don't want to look like a roasted pig on your wedding, then you need to take it easy on the tan. You do not have to be as red as a crustacean. If you want some color, be sure to go under the tanning bed at least two weeks before the day of the celebration. The same is true if you want your tan to be sprayed. You don't want your wedding videos to end up being submitted in America's Funniest Videos because you look like a tomato saying "I do" on a white serving platter.

2. Get A Facial At Least A Week Before The Wedding

Another mistake that brides commit is having a facial the day before the wedding. As a result, they end up blotchy or with a big red pimple on their big day. There is nothing wrong with having a facial. You want your skin to glow and be absolutely free of acne. However, the day after the facial, your skin is usually raw and prone to breakouts. So what do you have to do? Make sure that you schedule your facial or body scrub several days prior to your wedding day.

3. Take Time To Find That Perfect Dress

Somewhere out there, there is a perfect dress for you that is within your budget. You just have to invest some time and a lot of effort in looking for it. However, you have to make sure that what you choose has a classic cut so that when you look at your pictures 20 years after your wedding, you wouldn't find it hilariously outdated. Furthermore, take into consideration your venue when choosing a dress. You don't want to end up looking like a medieval princess in a beach setting.

4. Don't Date Your Do

Unless your wedding is themed, it would be best to choose a hairstyle and makeup that is timeless. Say no to fuchsia eye shadow or black lipstick if the theme of your wedding is not gothic or '80s.

5. Eat Something Before The Wedding Ceremony

A lot of brides end up fainting during the wedding or reception because of hunger. You cannot expect your wedding to be on time, so be sure to nibble on something before the ceremony. Again, you don't want your video ending up in America's Funniest Video, being laughed upon not only in the US but the rest of the whole world as well.

6. Love Your Body

You don't have to starve yourself to death or have implants just to be sexy and alluring on your wedding. Don't make drastic changes with your body a week before your wedding. Learn to accept that you are not meant to be as thin as a stick or as well-endowed as Pamela Anderson.

However, it is perfectly all right to undergo healthy weight loss program months before the wedding if you really want to be healthy. You can also apply a breast enhancement cream, such as Clevastin, to lift your bust or make your breasts look firm and bigger. If you are interested in knowing more about how you can safely make your breasts bigger, simply click on to http://www.clevastin.com/.

Beauty Salon- 12 Tips They Don't Want You To Know

Hair Care Professional- Breaking One In

Beauty Salon- It is so important for us to find the right beauty salon so that we can have the right look at the right time. However, there are certain things that beauty salon owners don't want you to know.

According to the September 13, 2005 issue of the LA Times, soon after Hurricane Katrina passed through the states of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama beauty salons with power and water reopened. Women who had lost EVERYTHING flocked to those open beauty salons. They wanted to look good even though they did not have a place to live. They wanted and needed professional hair care.

This fact alone confirms your intuition about the absolute necessity of finding the right beauty salon. This holds true for a beauty salon Los Angeles or a beauty salon Long Beach, Mississippi.

Let me give you some general guidelines and tips to use when you are looking for a new beauty salon. I will also include some helpful suggestions about how to deal with your hair stylist.

1. How far is the beauty salon from your home or work? Is it convenient to either or both?

2. Telephone the salon. Ask if their hair care stylists have experience with your type of hair. For example, is your hair long, curly, textured or exposed to frequent changes to hair color, heat and the elements?

3. Search the Internet for reviews of beauty salons in your work or home zip codes.

4. It seems obvious, but it's crucial: Who do you know whose hair looks fabulous? Ask them where (and to whom) they go.

5. When you get to the beauty salon what does the atmosphere FEEL like to you? Is it peaceful or stressful? Which do you prefer?

6. Are you greeted right away or are you forced to wander around or “twiddle your thumbs” until someone attends to you?

7. If you've made an appointment is it kept?

8. Is the beauty salon clean and well organized? Does everything seem to be in its place?

9. How is the staff dressed? Are they dressed appropriately to your taste?

10. What does the hair of the staff look like to you? Is the hair of the staff professionally done or is it sloppy?

Ok, you've decided that the beauty salon environment is satisfactory, now how do you deal with the hair stylist?

11. Collect and bring pictures that are appropriate for your type of hair. The biggest beauty salon hair disasters occur when your hair stylist doesn't understand what you want. Pictures help convey your message.

12. Don't immediately go for a cut, take it slower. Book a blow-dry with your selected stylist. Ask, if you were to cut my hair, how would you do it? Once you've set aside the time for a real consultation, here are some key questions to ask yourself as you talk to your stylist:

• DO YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE with the hair care stylist? You should like his or her sense of style. This means clothing, grooming, personality, everything.

• IS THE STYLIST ASKING YOU questions, giving ideas and suggestions that relate to your personality, rather than pointing to a style on the wall or in a book?

• IS THE HAIR CARE STYLIST ADDRESSING the health of your hair, not just proposing to cut off split ends? The two of you should be talking about conditioners and rinses that enhance shine and bounce, and special treatments that can prevent or repair damage done by the environment, such as pollution, sun, chlorine, humidity, or dry air.

• ONCE YOU'VE AGREED ON A LOOK, does the stylist preview how you'll need to blow it dry, wash it, and maintain it? These are all things to think about before actually getting the cut.

If you can answer most of the questions to your satisfaction, then you've probably found a beauty salon and a hair stylist that will make you look fabulous. If you cannot, then move on to the next beauty salon on your list.

In The Name Of Beauty, Wax Me!!

The quest for removal of unwanted hair has persisted through the ages and religiously pursued the world over. Waxing was one of the popular ancient methods greatly accepted in Europe, America, Middle East, China and India. Natural Beeswax was the product used for the purpose of hair removal.

Waxing is currently a very popular hair removal process among males and females. It can be done by a professional at select salons and spas, or you can do it at your home. Waxing uproots the hair from its follicles for long hair free periods lasting up to eight weeks depending on your particular skin, hair type and rate of hair growth. It produces the smoothest results among all temporary hair removal methods currently available. It can also decrease re-growth of unwanted hair. There are people who say this method of hair removal is not as painful as it sounds. You can purchase a pain reducing gel or anesthetic numbing spray from your pharmacist to reduce the pain. It is always better to test a small area of skin for sensitivity or an allergic reaction.

There are various types of waxing are available for you. Some of them need the services of a licensed cosmetologist. The different types of waxing that can be performed on your body are eyebrows waxing, bikini, male genital & Brazilian waxing, leg waxing, arm / underarm waxing, back waxing, foot waxing, chest waxing, entire body waxing etc. Areas like inside the ears and nose as well as eyelashes should never be waxed. Areas like female genitals, male genitals and the nipples should be waxed by the licensed cosmetologist.

There are several types of wax available in the market. Common ones are Hot Wax, Warm Wax and Cold Wax. Hot waxes are often called paraffin wax; the original hot wax is derived mainly from tallow and resins. It is heated prior to the application. This is very slow method still used in some salons today. Warm wax is actually a liquid sugar mixture, heated, applied to the skin and then removed with a muslin or cotton strips which absorb the wax, allowing it to grip the hair. Both warm and hot wax have the advantage of opening up the hair follicle and softening the layers of surrounding skin, easing the release of the hair with its root. Cold wax is available either in paste or gel form. It is applied to the skin without heating. It's not quite effective and less preferred than a warm wax. But if your skin is sensitive, then a cold wax causes less skin irritations.

Another popular type is the wax strip. It offers instant waxing, a convenient, quick method of hair removal that requires no preparation. Genuine wax strip grips the hair; when you pull them off, the area can remain hair-free for up to eight weeks.

For waxing your hair needs to be a little bit long for the best results. So if your hairs are very long, trim them down. If short, allow them to grow in a bit. You don't need to bathe beforehand. Since the hair absorbs moisture which makes it soft and harder for the wax to have a firm grip. Dry hair is tough therefore easier to pull off. It is advisable to lightly powder your skin to absorb moisture and natural oils. This will make hairs easier to pull, which will limit inflammation. Some people exfoliate the area before waxing.

Do not overheat the wax if you don't want to burn your skin. One small area should be selected at a time. After waxing, remove any excess wax with a warm moist towel, be careful, do not touch the skin with your bare hands. It may produce an infection in that area. When skin is freshly waxed, you can limit creating ingrown hairs and other skin irritations by not wearing tight clothing around the area. Be careful not to expose the newly waxed area to the sun for at least forty eight hours. Always use a good sun blocker cream thereafter. Waxing hair removal products usually leaves redness behind, so if you're preparing for a special occasion, do it a couple of days beforehand.

New hair growth in waxed areas is soft and fine. After repeated waxing for areas like the eyebrows and lower legs, hair re-growth is less common and, in some cases, hair will never re-grow.

Some physicians do not recommend waxing for people suffering from diabetes, varicose veins or poor circulation as they are prone to infections. Users of Retin-A, Renova, Differin or Isotretinoin are the medications that tend to weaken the skin and tearing of the skin may occur when the wax is removed. Waxing should not be done on areas of skin affected by warts, pimples, moles or rashes or on skin that is irritated, chapped or suffering from sunburn.

Men are not only waxing their backs, faces, chest but also their bikini lines. It increased sex appeal and a cleaner feeling. Since some men might be embarrassed about getting waxed at a salon, there are at-home cosmeticians who can do the job. There are even do-it-yourself waxing kits available for the purpose. Men get regular appointments at salons or spas for eyebrow waxing; most of the male clientele get their eyebrows waxed. Waxing is a good way to get rid of eyebrows that are out of control. So if you want to lessen the hair that grows on your legs or chest without permanently abolishing it, this would be the ideal way to go.

Permanent Hair Removal Options

Permanent hair removal with the use of lasers is a method that is quite effective at removing most of the targeted hair for a long period of time. Laser hair removal is not completely permanent, but it's much more effective than other hair removal products and techniques.

With lasers, light energy targets the pigment in the hair, which destroys the hair follicles without damaging skin and surrounding tissue. Permanent hair removal uses several types of lasers, depending on the circumstances. Temporary hair removal usually only lasts a few months, but it's effective on most patients.

Laser hair removal isn't as common as other hair removal products, costs more money, and must be spread out over a few sessions. Although there are many different hair removal products that claim to remove hair permanently, laser treatment is one of the few truly effective methods for removing hair in a more permanent manner.

Most people searching for permanent hair removal products have already heard about laser treatment, but know little about the process and what's involved.

The treatment itself is quite simple to undergo, and doesn't involve a large amount of pain. The comfort level during a session varies depending on the patient, however, and can be slightly uncomfortable. This is only because each hair follicle is surrounded by nerve endings.

Many patients can take the pain without any anesthetic, but laser hair removal specialists do offer the option in the form of an anesthetic cream, which is applied about an hour before the laser hair removal procedure.

The average amount of treatments most patients require is 3-6. You have to wait 4-12 weeks between sessions as well, so keep this in mind when considering permanent hair removal treatment. Non-permanent hair removal products don't work as well as permanent laser treatments, which is why most people searching for a more permanent solution to their problem seek out laser treatments.

Laser treatment works well for a variety of hair removal issues, including facial hair removal and back hair removal. With facial hair removal in particular, permanent hair removal will make your life much easier. You'll never have to worry about unsightly hair appearing in embarrassing places ever again.

Back hair removal can be such a hassle as well, unless you go the permanent hair removal route, which is definitely a good idea for this type of problem.

Overall, permanent hair removal is affordable and effective. Remember, once the hair is removed, you probably won't have to go back ever again. Even though the procedures may be more expensive at the outset, the permanency of the results means more money in your pockets down the line.

At the same time, it's always a good idea to research different permanent hair removal options before taking the plunge and selecting the most expensive one. You don't want to hand your money over to just anyone, so take the time to find out who the best professionals are in the field, where the best clinics are located, and you will get the results you deserve.

8 Quick Beauty Tricks For A More Sensational You

Time is of the essence for busy women, especially for working moms. Being busy, however, should not be an excuse for looking haggard, stressed out and simply unkempt. Despite your ultra busy schedule, you need to allocate even a few minutes to look your best, wherever you go.

Nowadays, being beautiful doesn't mean spending hours on end primping your hair and doing your make up. Here are some beauty tricks that can make you feel and look gorgeous in less than five minutes anywhere, anytime.

Shiny Locks

A hair spa could definitely give your hair a beautiful shine, but it usually takes at least half an hour to finish. Brushing your hair for 100 times could also add shine to your otherwise dull hair. But do you know how time-consuming 100 brush strokes can be? The answer to shinier hair is simple. Just make sure that you apply hair conditioner after shampooing twice. It would also be better if you choose a product that deeply conditions and treats your particular hair problem such as being dull, brittle, heavily colored or damaged hair.

Bouncy Hair

If you have at least five minutes to spare, you can blow dry your hair using big round brushes. This will surely give your hair some volume. If you have the money to buy one of those battery-operated brushes that roll on their own, get one and you can cut your blow-drying in half the time. However, if you already have dry and brittle hair, you should stay away from hair dryers. Instead, dab on a leave-on conditioner or hair serum on your hair before you go to sleep. Surely, you will wake up with fantastic bounce in the morning.

Professionally Done Hair

Tying your hair in a ponytail is sometimes a little boring, especially if this is your do for almost everyday. For a professional looking do without the fuss, simply add a wide or thick headband with your ponytail and you will surely look great, clean and crisp. For special occasions, choose headbands with a little glitter and shine.

Slim Silhouette

Exercise and dieting can really make you slimmer and leaner. But if you want that instant slim factor, you should wear a push up bra. This will help lift your breasts, giving an illusion of slimmer tummy. If you have some girdles or shape-contouring undergarments, you can use them to look sexier.

Shimmering Skin

You can show off your flawless skin without wearing very skimpy clothing. Just use lotions that have a little shimmer and surely people will notice your slim arms or long sexy legs. If you have an evening date with your husband or partner, don't forget to use the shimmer because it will make your skin sparkle every time it catches some light.

Concealed Flaws

Everybody has a scar or flaw that needs to be concealed and hidden. You can make your skin problem disappear in a jiffy with the use of airbrush makeup or concealer. It is easy to use and looks natural on your skin. Find one that has moisturizer to keep your skin from drying.

Kissable Lips

You can get an injection just to have the lips of Angelina Jolie if you have a strong tolerance for pain. If not, you can simply dab on your lips some translucent reddish pink gloss. This will make your lips look plump and truly irresistible.

Clean Nails

Find a nail polish that is nude or beige so that your nails will look cleaner and neater. A shade that slightly contrasts your natural skin tone can also do the trick. However, before you polish, make sure that your nails are clean and well trimmed. If you have nail fungus, skip the polish. Make sure you treat your nail fungus first with natural anti-fungal remedy, such as Somasin. If you want to know how this fast-acting product can help you, visit http://www.somasin.com.

Applying the Latest Beauty Tips Today

Most of you might have heard of this term which is simply a ranking of foods based on the speed at which they are absorbed by the human body. Experts say that a GI diet is a good way to acheive and maintain a perfect body as long as it is managed and designed properly by a dietician who regularly checks the dietary needs of your body. Carbohydrates are classified as the most worrysome of foods for it is responsible fopr body mass or too much of it that is. Taming those carbs, and watching their sugar contents is not only healthy but allows the body to maintain a well-balanced nutritionsl system that is good for everybody.

Even if the approach is good, it shoiuld always be managed and monitored for each and every person has a specific nutrition needs which might need more or less of some nutrients to prevent disease and allow the nody to function properly.

Another of the Celebrity Quick fixes that has been hailed by some to have given results in as little as a week. Many celebrities go to extreme lengths just to maintain that beautiful figure of theirs and some of them are inded going on this lemon diet. The lemon diet is actually another detoxification diet that capitalizes on the high concentrations of Vitamin-C in the sour fruit. Filled with acid and vitamins it does have a cleansing effect on the body which should start with a detox diet consisting merely of fresh fruits and water. This is followed by a whole week's drinking of lemonade at room temperature and organic fruits and foods that would surely trim you down.

If you have some problems with your digestive tract, please consult your doctor for the high acid content of lemons might aggrevate the condition further and as we know, it can be very painful.

The process allows you to get fresh and natural glowing skin but don't think its gonna be pain free. As the term implies, the rpocedure involves removing a few layers of skin cells from the face and neck using an abrasive compound that abrades them away exposing new skin. It does get a bit painful right after the treatment but there is usually a soothing mask is applied and even two in some treatments. The good news is that it gets those unsightly lines, acne scars and other skin blemishes away leaving smooth skin as that of a baby's bottom (sometimes). It does fell like sandpapering on your face and you'd have to wear earplugs to avoid getting the stuff into your ears so kiss those iPod's goodbye, well till its all over. You feel sore for a few days as the skin cells firm up and grow into your fresh face.

Use primers to even out blotchy complexion and follow with a liquid foundation or tint which makes your face evenly toned. Apply only as needed and don't overdo for it will run if applied too heavy. Use translucent powder and steer away from colored powders for they will streak on oily skin. For a natural glow, don't apply powder to the tops of your cheekbones. Keep away from crème foundations for they smudge with oily skin as the day progresses. Sweep your cheekbones with some powdered shimmer with a fan brush to liven it up a bit. Carry blotching paper with you to soak up that oil as it accumulates so you can touch up and prevent blotching through the day.

Ancient Egypt's Beauty Secrets Revealed

Ancient Egypt has not only given us the Sphinx and the Pyramids of Giza. The beauty treatments and procedures that many of us are enjoying nowadays are in fact inspired or derived from the practices of the old Egyptian civilization.

It is not really surprising that Julius Caesar and Marc Anthony found Egypt as an interesting and intoxicating place. Although much of the perceptions of beauty that these two men had were influenced by their desire for the Egyptian Queen Cleopatra, it is safe to say that both Marc Anthony and Julius Caesar also found all Egyptians amazing because of their penchant for proper hygiene and beauty. Furthermore, women in Egypt were not the only ones who were concerned about the way they look and smell. Egyptian guys also fuss as much when it comes to their appearance.

In fact, scientists found that bath oils and other beauty implements were used as payment or wages, even to the lowliest of laborers. Moreover, cosmetics and other beauty-related products or ingredients, and not food, were the primary reason why ancient Egypt engaged in foreign trade. Here are some the beauty secrets from Ancient Egypt that can still be practiced even today.

Milk Bath

You must have heard of how AHA, or Alpha Hydroxy Acid, is important in exfoliating your skin. In fact, if you look at the ingredients of many skin products sold in the market today, you will realize that majority of them contain AHA. Queen Cleopatra, the epitome of beauty even up to the present, used AHA through milk baths to keep her skin soft and smooth as ever. It is a common misconception that AHA is a synthetic ingredient. In reality, however, this substance is naturally found in milk and other citrus fruits.

Since it would be quite wasteful (and expensive) to put gallons of full cream milk on your tub everyday, you can reap benefits of AHA in different ways. Surely there are bath soaps, bubble baths and lotions that contain milk to help you achieve the same effect as the milk bath enjoyed by Queen Cleopatra during the old days.

Honey Mask

Did you know that when mummies where excavated and examined, experts found that one food substance used on the bodies to keep them unspoiled was honey? In fact, many scientists believe that honey is one of the reasons why mummies of Egypt were preserved well.

Honey is not only beneficial in the embalming process. In fact, people who are alive and healthy can also make use of it to keep a clear and smooth skin. Since honey is a humectant, it can attract and maintain water, keeping your skin well-hydrated. You can use honey for your face, skin and hair. Just make sure that you rinse your face and body a few minutes after you put honey because you don't want to stain your sheets. Moreover, always go for pure natural honey, otherwise ants and other insects will feast on you because of the sugar content found in low-quality honey.

Myrrh

If there is one substance that kept Egyptians, particularly those in the highest social strata, smelling fresh and clean, it is myrrh. This fragrant oil was prized because it has to be imported from other places. Egyptians used myrrh as an incense and oil to disinfect their bodies or clothing and to make their breaths smell good.

Botanical Oils

Researches have discovered that people during this time used over 21 aromatic oils to protect their skin from the scorching sun, keep them from smelling bad, and treat skin problems like stretch marks, wrinkles and probably even cellulite. But since it would be hard to secure the same recipes for lotions and creams at present, it would be better for us to just stick to the lotions and creams that are available now.

What you can copy from the Egyptians is their diligence and regular application of these lotions and creams. Incidentally, if you have problems with cellulite, you may want to regularly apply an anti-cellulite cream, such as Celrase, to help minimize the appearance of dimples on your skin. For more information, visit http://www.celrase.com.

Visit your local beauty store and you will surely be amazed at how many products you can find that claim to delay aging, make skin smoother, and banish a host of problems including acne, dark underarms, stretch marks and cellulite. The cosmetic industry has come a long way and now has the answer to almost all beauty problems that plague the population today.

Although there is really no government agency that reviews and ensures that the beauty products being sold in the market are effective and safe, you can be assured that most of them, especially those that are manufactured by trusted brands, are relatively harmless and reliable.

Eating a balanced diet, working out regularly, and getting ample sleep are all important in your quest for a healthier and more beautiful you. However, when you are already over 30, you need the help of beauty potions to look younger and to banish common skin woes.

To be able to take full advantage of the creams and lotions that you use, you need to know how to properly apply them. Just splashing them onto your skin anytime or anywhere may not be the best way to ensure that they work properly and effectively. Below are some of the things you should know about how to get the most from the beauty products you use.

Read The Instructions Carefully

One of the reasons why a certain beauty product may not produce the results that you are seeking is its improper use or application. Many women do not read the instructions provided by manufacturers before they use the products that they have bought.

Reading the label is important because some beauty products contain ingredients that may be harsh when applied excessively. For example, some exfoliating products are best used at night because exposure to the sun after using the product could cause wrinkles or skin discoloration. Thus, before you lather your face with a gel or rub your skin with lotion, make sure that you are using it properly.

Be Consistent

A lot of people are so impatient that after using a product for a week and no noticeable improvements occur, they will immediately toss it in the trash bin. However, most beauty creams and lotions need to be used consistently and diligently for a couple of weeks or months before you can see results.

If you are using an anti-cellulite cream, for example, you cannot expect that the dimples on your skin will disappear completely the next day. You probably need to apply the product twice a day for a week or two before you can see a dramatic difference on the texture of your skin or the appearance of your dimples.

Apply Skin Products After You Shower

Although it is quite rare to find a facial cream or body lotion that needs to be applied first before showering, many beauty products actually work more effectively on clean face and skin. This is especially true for eye creams and other products you put on your face. Furthermore, the heat from the shower or bath and the scrubbing you do while you shower improves your circulation. Hence, products are absorbed by the skin more easily.

Don't Dress Up Immediately

If you are applying a product on your skin and body, it would be best to wait a few minutes for your skin to absorb the gel or cream before putting on your clothes. If you immediately wear your pants or jump in your bed right after applying the product on your skin, there is a big chance that the cream or lotion will just stick into your clothes. This is especially true if you are applying anti-cellulite cream like Cellutherm on your buttocks or thighs. If you want to learn more about how to benefit from an anti-cellulite cream, visit http://www.cellutherm.com/.

Traveling With Hair Styling Tools

Who doesn't want to have healthy and beautiful hair? If you want to maintain their health, beauty, as well as strength, then you must take adequate care of your hair strands. Not only you need to pay attention to your dietary requirements, but also use less chemicals and hair-care products to maintain their charm and beauty.

There are times in life when hair management becomes a challenging task. This especially occurs when you are traveling long distances. Often traveling to remote places with disparate environmental and weather conditions harms your hair. Therefore, you are recommended to carry with you hair-care products and tools that can make your job easier. If you are an air traveler, you must know which hair tools you can safely carry on an aircraft.

Due to the recent ban on liquids and gels, the air travelers are allowed to carry many items in their bags. They are allowed to carry most of the gels and liquids under three-ounce' quantity, and that too in their carry-on bags. Remember, carrying larger quantity of these items is banned if you consider the safety of air-passengers. You can carry only essential toiletries and liquids while traveling for a short trip. If you ever require any item in larger quantity, you should put it in your baggage and let the airline staff know about it.

You can carry some of the most essential hair tools also on an aircraft, such as a hair brush, shampoo, conditioner, or a detangler. But, it is prohibited to carry butane lighter in your carry-bag after 9/11 restrictions are imposed worldwide. If you put the one in your baggage, and the security people come to know about them, they can be removed without even informing you. Likewise, you are not allowed to carry a butane hair curler, hair straightener or a hair dryer in your carry-bag. In case you want to, you need to get in touch with the airlines staff first.

Moreover, you can carry hair styling gels and sprays such as aerosol not only in your hang-luggage but also in your suitcase. But you should avoid carrying the hair tools larger than seven inches. In case you are still doubtful about certain hair tools that you would like to carry with you, it is advisable to first check with your airline and find out if these items can be put in hand luggage or baggage. Don't forget to double-check if any of your checked-in luggage contains a sharp edged tool, which may pose as a security threat to the other passengers on board.

As different countries follow different security procedures, you should first check with the concerned security staff and inquire about the type of hair tools you can easily carry with you. So, if you are planning a great vacation, you must follow the country-specific guidelines about baggage and items to carry. Remember, the less baggage you carry with you, the easier it is for you to enjoy your trip. So, choose your hair styling tools carefully and enjoy your trip!

Stress Reduction Tips For Working Mothers

For a working mom, their "work" day never really ends. They may go to work from 9-5 and come home, but they come home to more work. They have a family to feed and take care of and a house to keep in order. They never really have a chance to leave their work stress at the door when they come home to their family.

Since they're constantly on the go, they find it hard to balance their work life with their family life. When the line between work and home can't be seen, stress from one has free reign to the other. They start to realize that they don't know if they're coming or going anymore.

There are two types of working moms. Those that work outside of the home and those who work inside their home. Those that work outside the home tend to have more socializing opportunities, but they have less time for meeting the needs of their family.

The moms who work from their home tend to have more flexibility with their time, but they face long hours of isolation or having only children for company. They desire some adult conversation to keep them sane. Here are some tips to both types of working moms reduce stress, so they can get their life back:

Exercise- Exercise is not only good for your body, but also for your mind. It can be a good stress reliever. Try to work in some time into your work week for exercise. It helps to raise your heart rate which promotes good blood circulation and makes you feel good. It can also give you some alone time or time with a friend to chat about adult topics instead of things that interest children.

Recruit others for help-Utilize your friends and family to help you out. They can help you with babysitting, cleaning, organizing, painting or whatever you need. The extra hands can enable you to go out, get the house cleaned, or even just to take a much needed nap. The person, who said that it takes a village to raise a child, knew what they were talking about. Use others to your advantage. Get your children involved as well, in activities like cleaning to take some of the load off you.

Hire out for certain jobs. In some cases, your friends and family aren't able to help you, so don't be afraid to hire someone to help you out. It's better to fork over a little money to a maid service or a babysitter than to drive yourself crazy with the added stress. The costs will be low, since you'll use these services once in awhile versus all the time.

Establish work times-If you work outside of the home, then make sure your work doesn't come with you to stay. If you're off at 5, then stop your working gears and start your family gears until it's time to go back to work. If you work at home, be sure to set your work times and stick to them. During work hours, your mind should be on work. Afterwards, your mind should be with your family.

Working part time- If the stress of working full time becomes too much for you to handle with the family life then consider cutting back to part time. Check your family's budget and see if cuts can be made to allow you to cut your working hours. The stress of working too many hours while juggling home life isn't worth your sanity if you can't get extra help.

Working moms bring added income to the family, which is nice, but stress can make it seem not worth your time. Learning to reduce stress can help you keep your family life and work life in sync. A good balance of both in your life can make for a happier you.

Being a working mom can be extremely rewarding, but it's challenging. Get the help you need with Real Life Guidance to Balancing Work and Family It's your practical guide to tracking your time, setting priorities, learning to say no and achieving that balance you strive for.

Value Beauty Through the Right Stuff

If you have never tried e.l.f eyes lips face yet, you're missing out big time. This makeup brand has great makeup at a price that's difficult to beat: just $1 each. It's unbelievable value, even for what you get. Women everywhere have discovered that the products aren't that different from regular department store beauty products, from the all over color stick, bronzing powder, lip gloss, and mascara to the array of brushes in-store. Still a doubter? It wouldn't hurt at all to try one (or five) of their products. You'll wonder why you ever thought $20 for a beauty product was worth every cent.

Orange skin and streaks should be banned. It's too 20th century. But natural looking color is always hot. The Jergens natural glow line has everything you need to fake a tan without looking it. It contains DHA and erythrulose, in addition to the regular Jergens ingredients. The Daily Moisturizer comes in three tones: fair, medium and medium/tan to complement your skin color. The Firming Daily Moisturizer formula contains collagen and elastin to improve skin elasticity. FACE Daily Moisturizer gives your face an even color and a non-greasy look. FACE Daily Moisturizer SPF 20 has skin protection best for a day outdoors. In a rush? Try the express Body Moisturizer, which makes skin a full shade darker in three days. Now there's no excuse for pale and dull skin this summer.

Ole Henriksen of Denmark is as famous for his day spa on Sunset Boulevard, LA as his beauty products. His eponymous line includes the bestselling roll-on blemish attack for oily and blemish-prone skin, which has benzoyl peroxid, salicylic acid and zine, a triple pimple-fighting combination. It's a powerful formula that banishes bacteria. Ole Henriksen blemish attack purifying mask is a new addition to his blemish attack line. Purifying clay lifts impurities off the skin. Used twice weekly, it removes excess oil and prevents breakouts. Blemish attack daily defense gel with aloe vera is another new product worth trying. It has lactic acid and glycolic acid promotes cell renewal and evens out skin tone.

Let's talk nutrition for a moment. A lot of people got over their South Beach Diet phase, which went on for a while. For some, it probably wasn't so easy to stick to, but for others, maybe it was just more expensive. But you have to admit, SBD has its good points. One of them was that you could go snacking. Healthily, of course. Never have pizzas and pudding cups been better for you. Kraft's South Beach Diet line still has lots of yummy bars and snacks without going overboard on calories and sugar. High on protein, fiber and flavor--an awesome combination.

It's not enough to be beautiful on the outside. Healthy skin, hair and fingernails also need a little help from the inside. We looked at the labels of two nutritional supplements: Nail, Hair & Skin Connection from Rainbow Light, and Skin, Hair & Nails from Natrol to compare their contents. Both have vitamins A, B6, B12, and C, thiamine, riboflavin, biotin, zinc, copper, and methyl sulfonyl methane (MSM). Natrol has Vitamin E, cysteine for elasticity, and glutathione to fight against free radicals, while Rainbow Light is stronger on its B vitamins and mineral-rich botanicals. Both recommend two caps a day. If you're already taking in supplements, don't expect a major change.

Say your BFF is not exactly the girly girl but you want to give her a beauty product as a gift. Tall order? Not with Urban Decay. These two products need no wrapper and no lengthy apology. Choose of three lip potions and store it in this limited edition silver-plated ring. Poison Ring comes in a gorgeous purple faux snakeskin box lined with black velour. Did we say rocker chick? There is no gift (in the beauty section, at least) quite like it. Commando's dog tag packaging is for the camouflage-wearing army girl. Inside are two lip glosses, Naked XXX Shine Cooling Lip Gloss and O Ultraglide Lip Gloss, leaving no excuses for dry lips in the battlefield. The adjustable chain makes it good for the bar and the barracks.

Hair Styles For Women- Tips for Shine Styling

Todays modern women is always looking for new techniques to use to get the most out of her new fashionable haircut. Simple techniques range from products to styling and here we have discussed the most popular tips to get the most out of your hairstyle.

Straight hair will shine more that curly or wavy hair because of light reflection. For maximum shine apply straightening balm before blow drying for super sleek looks.

When you are blow drying use a nozzle attachment to direct the airflow down the hair from root to tip. This helps to flatten the cuticle scales and add shine.

If you have course or frizzy hair, use a big, round thermo brush that has a metal barrel that heats up during the drying process. This heat is then used to style your hair, just like straighteners would.

There are wide range of creams, serums and sprays available to add instant shine. Gloss is great for this. Smooth or scrunch it into the hair to tame flyaway ends and give a fantastic sheen to your hair.

Rejuvenate curls by twisting them around your finger. Rub a small amount of curl definer onto your fingers and mould the curl by winding the hair around your finger. This eliminates frizz, reshapes the curl and adds shine.

Always rinse hair your with clean running water to banish shampoo and conditioner from the hair as remaining deposits will make the hair dull.

When rinsing use cold water in the final rinse as this will close down the cuticle and encourage shine.

Intensive conditioning treatments replace lost moisture and lock it in by adding a fine protective layer around the hair.

Feeling in the party mood then wear your hair in relaxed, wavy curls which will be one of this season's hot new hairstyle looks. You can rag roll or tong your hair, or use large rollers for lovely loose waves to be the belle of the ball.

For a trendy party look which suits styles with short, sharp layers, keep hair smooth and sleek, slicked back behind the ears with some gel, or to show off your layers, wear it more messed up by tousling it with putty.

Black Hair Care Tips

Black hair (African-American hair) is different from Caucasoid hair or Asian hair. The most typical character of the black hair is that it is strong and rigid transversally but is very flexible length wise. Because of this presentation, the hair body often curls tightly and takes up a spiral appearance. The shape of African hair has a resemblance to a twisted oval or ribbon.

Another feature of black hair is that it is irregular in diameter. Neither the fiber diameter nor the cuticle diameter is the same all through its length. Because of this typical structure and coiling structure the hair has many fragile points. The outside of a tight curl puts stress on the outer hair fiber cortex and cuticle. At some points outside the curls, cuticle becomes very thin and flakes easily. These areas of stress in the hair fiber are prone to damage by chemicals. Even vigorous combing is enough to flake the cuticle and damage the hair.

Another undesirable feature of the black hair is its low moisture content. This character also makes the black hair more susceptible to weathering. Since the black hair is too curly in nature, it is difficult to comb. It is prone to hair breakage and hair shedding.

Because of these difficulties, black hair requires more care than any other type of hair. The following black hair care tips help in preventing some damage to which it is naturally susceptible. Massage the scalp regularly to encourage oil production.

Always use a wide-toothed Afro comb. Combing helps spread the natural oil through the hair, making it look shinier and healthier.

Use intensive pre-shampoo treatments. Shampoo your black hair as often as you feel necessary but only lather once, using a small amount of shampoo. Rinse thoroughly.

Always towel-blow your hair and never rub it with towel. . Try a hot oil treatment once a month. It lubricates dry scalp and help in moisturizing black hair. Choose non-greasy formulas for your hair gel so that they don't take away the healthy sheen. If you want to braid your black hair, use a softening shampoo that maintains the right moisture balance. You can also try a natural oil based moisturizer.

While combing your hair, start from the tips and work towards the roots, it will be less damaging to the hair. Have a regular trim to remove split ends as it prevents hair breakage. Whether it's in cornrow, braids or bun, try not to repeat the same 'pull-back' hairstyle too often. The stress on the hair may cause it to weaken around the edges.

Try to avoid the use of heat treatments, chemical relaxers or hot hair drying of your hair. Don't use any hair care product that has any harsh chemical. Only use natural hair care products. Avoid use of alcohol based products.

Cotton pillow cases and sheets help in breakage, use a silk or satin scarf to wrap up your hair while sleeping.

Besides these natural hair care tips, there are certain black hair products that can be used for taking care of your hair. Black hair has its own specific characters and its unique problems. So special black hair growth products need to specially formulated for taking care of the more fragile black hair. The best black hair care or hair growth products are the ones that use the natural hair care products.

The common ingredients of the black hair care products depend largely on the requirements of the black hair care. The research has found that black hair is less dense as compared to other ethnic hair. Studies on black hair have shown that it also has less hair re-growth potential. Because of these factors, more Afro-American women are concerned about hair loss or alopecia. These women are mostly looking for products that offer them better hair growth other than frizz control. Natural hair care products offer these black hair care products more credibility

Using A Curling Iron On Short Hair

There are many people, who are fanatic about their hair styling. Today, people are crazy about looking attractive and stylish as everyone is concerned about his or her looks and appearance. Not only they are more imaginative about adopting a new hair style, but they are also not opposed to the idea of seeking professional help to get a new hair style on regular basis.

Curly hair is more prevalent among young men and women as it is believed to lend a sensual appeal to them. This type of hair style has remained more popular among the gentries for centuries. Therefore, a complete range of hair products and hair care and styling tools are always available in the shops and these are in big demand at any point of time.

Though, curling the long hair is very easy and can be perfected in just a few sessions but curling the short hair is considered to be a little more complicated as it involves great care and perfection. To curl your short hair, it is important that you choose a hair curling iron which is small in diameter. Curling iron is very useful aid to curl your hair in style. There are different sizes of barrels of these curling irons. The smaller barrels are used to get tight curls while the larger barrels are used to get the bouncy curls. The small barrel curling iron will help you to curl short hair more accurately and more safely.

There are some simple steps involved in curling your hair with the help of the small barrel curling iron. It is very important to note that your hair should be dry before you start curling your hair. The wet hair may get burnt while using the hot curling iron on wet hair. Moreover, there are some thermal protection products available to protect your hair from getting burnt.

To curl the shorter hair, it is more convenient to start curling the hair from the crown whereas to curl the medium to long hair it should be started from the back of the head. Now to begin curling, take separate sections of the hair of 1 to 2 inches of width and start with the tip of the hair. Then clamp the tips of the hair inside the heated barrels of the iron and start rolling the barrel upwards going closer to the scalp. To secure the scalp from getting burnt, inserting a comb between the iron and the scalp will be a better option. Next, hold the rolled hair around the curling iron for around 10 seconds and then release the hair gently. You can use a large toothed comb or hairs pick to loose the curls shaping those curls in your desired style. Continue the similar treatment with the other sections of the hair until all sections are curled.

Once the hair gets cool, you can apply the holding spray on your hair to run the style for a longer period. Hair sprays come in different formulas to hold the hair in different styles. If you wish to have a loose look, you can select a light holding hair spray. On the other hand, if you want the curls to stay tight in place throughout the day then the heavier holding spray will be desirable.

So, you can easily learn to add curls to your hair style using this method. Gradually, you will master the art of curling the short hair with the practice of few sessions.

Tips On How To Look Your Best On Your Wedding Day

Every bride wants her wedding to be spectacular. She wants the catering to be magnificent, the decorations to be wonderful, the flowers to be adorable and, of course, the wedding dress and makeup to be simply breathtaking. In order to achieve this dream wedding, the bride needs to devote sleepless nights and endless hours for planning and preparations. However, stress and too much work which can last up to the night before the wedding itself can really put strain on the skin and face of any woman. As a result, many brides look less than perfect because of pimples sprouting, dry skin flaking, and even fine lines suddenly appearing on their wedding day.

If you want to look simply gorgeous on your special day, you need all the help you can get. Here are some important pieces of advice from experts to help you cope with skin and beauty problems you might encounter on the day of your wedding:

Plan Ahead

The only way you can be stress free on your wedding day is if you carefully planned for the occasion for several months prior. If you want to get married in June, you need to start your preparations in January or even earlier. You can use planners and books that have step-by-step guide on what you need to accomplish to make your big day successful and stress-free.

Ask The Pros

Let's face it, not everybody can afford having their make up done by professionals. If you are one of those who are brave enough to do their own makeup, you need to refresh your makeup skills for the big day. You would not want to wear your office makeup on your trip to the altar.

You don't have to spend for makeup seminars or workshop because you can have makeup lessons for free. Just visit the cosmetic counters of your favorite makeup brands in department stores and consult with their specialists who are also trained to help provide every individual's cosmetic needs. Some may even give you a free makeover and teach some tricks of the trade.

Don't Turn Yourself Into A Clown

Your wedding day is not a time for experimentation. If you haven't tried wearing bright blue eye shadow with green sparkly highlights, do not attempt to do so during the big day. Although wearing too much makeup and loud colors will really make you the center of attention on your wedding day, make sure that people will look at you not because you appear like a clown. For example, you may want to wear bright lipstick because a pale or neutral color will not look flattering on photos.

Prep Up Your Skin

In order to achieve a smooth and supple skin on your wedding day, you need to start taking care of your face and body for several months before the big day. Body scrubbing twice a month and a nightly ritual of applying lotion and cream will really help make your body soft, smooth and irresistible on your special day.

A facial once a month, for at least three months, is a must for every bride. A deep cleansing facial will help get rid of deep-seated dirt and grime, and also slough off dead skin cells so you will look glowing and rosy. You also need to start using a moisturizer that targets your skin problems such as fine lines, wrinkles, skin discoloration, and large pores. Find a moisturizer that will help get rid of all these problems months or weeks before your wedding.

Natural Teeth Whitening Alternatives

Most people will agree that having a brilliant white smile is complimentary to their appearance. Countless numbers of people think about various ways to improve or enhance their appearance at some time or another. Using natural teeth whitening products is a simple, inexpensive way to accomplish this.

There are choices when it comes to brightening your smile. Some people might choose to go to a dentist for professional bleaching products, which usually contain peroxide to bleach the teeth. Also, there are a variety of over the counter options like whitening strips. Dentists or their affiliates might not endorse organic whitening products such as baking soda, lemon juice and peroxide, but those items have a history of cleaning that has been passed through the ages. The use of foods such as lemons, limes oranges and grapefruit, as well as strawberries, and tomatoes to erase the effects of coffee and tea stains is steeped in tradition.

I will start with the professional choice. If your dentist agrees that you should whiten your teeth, they would make trays formed to fit over your teeth. The trays hold a gel solution containing peroxide. The dentist decides how long to keep the whitener on your teeth, and how long you will use it. This method is quite successful, and your dentist is responsible for keeping your mouth healthy and the tooth enamel from deteriorating. The cost could be a huge detriment. Professional whitening is very expensive.

Whitening strips, gels, and toothpastes are easy to find at drug and discount stores. They are easy to use and are priced less than professional services. Whitening toothpastes often have baking soda or peroxide as the principal whitening ingredient. Containing a small amount of peroxide, the ready to use strips are easy to apply.

Begin by looking in your own kitchen or pantry may seem like an unusual place, but it is widely known that many everyday goods work for both cooking and cleaning. For instance, homemakers have used lemon juice for many common uses such as highlighting hair and for removing stains from kitchen counters and sinks. You could make a paste of baking soda mixed with a little vinegar and brush it gently on your teeth to lessen coffee or tea stains.

Using these natural organic products cautious and discerning manner, should allow your teeth to become sparkling white. Consider the consequences of combining these products before use, and keep in mind they should not be used for extended periods.

If you are considering the use of natural teeth whitening products, you might not have to look any farther than your own kitchen, pantry or grocery store. Smile, and look at those pearly white teeth.

Seven Tips On How You Can Look And Feel Younger Than Your Age

Due to sedentary lifestyle, improper eating habits, environmental toxins, stress and other problems, more and more people are facing skin aging prematurely. Nowadays, it wouldn't be surprising for a 30-year old woman to look 50 because of weight problems, wrinkles, and even cellulite.

If you want to look and feel younger than your real calendar age, you need to accept the fact that you have to work hard for it. The following are seven tips that will surely help you look dazzling and beautiful at any age:

1. Psyche Yourself Up

The first thing you need to do is acknowledge you have a problem. Once you have accepted that you have flaws, such as cellulite on your thighs for example, you will be ready to psyche up yourself into believing that you have what it takes to eliminate or at least prevent your problems from escalating. One way that will help you believe in yourself is creating positive affirmations (constantly remind yourself that you can do it), meditations, and prayers.

2. Mind What You Eat

For people who are dealing with weight and cellulite issues, you have to accept the fact that the food you eat (or even don't eat) can exacerbate your situation. If you want to have a healthy looking skin and body, you ought to restrain yourself from feasting on dairy products, junk and processed foods and those that are high in sugar and salt.

3. Drink Up

Water is essential in many bodily functions, including the elimination of toxins and wastes inside your body. If you want to get rid of cellulite, you have to make sure that your body effectively gets rid of wastes and toxins. Thus, you need to drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday. Although soups and other beverages can also help prevent dehydration, water is the better choice because it does not contain calories, sugar or salt.

4. Start A Daily Low Impact Exercise Regimen

Your days of wasting hours upon hours in front of the television doing nothing but eat and watch TV are over. You have to start moving your body and sweating it out. For starters, you can do 30-minute walks around the park or using a treadmill. After a week or two, you can start doing aerobic exercises, stair climbing, swimming, playing Frisbee with your friends, or engaging in sports and other physically challenging activities like wall climbing, hiking and biking. Do this daily and you will see a drastic improvement not only on the way you look, but also on how you feel inside.

5. Start Pumping Some Iron

One way to get firm and well-sculpted body is by undergoing weight or strength training. You really do not need a program that will give you big and bulky muscles like the wrestlers on TV. What you need is a strength training program that will help tone your body, flatten your abs, and give you strong and lean body.

6. Do Dry Skin Brushing

One of the most effective ways to boost your circulation, improve your skin's elasticity and prevent formation of cellulite and varicose veins is by dry brushing your thighs, arms, legs and even your tummy. This process, which can be done twice or three times a week, can also help slough off dead skin cells.

Is Beauty Past 40 Possible?

Is beauty past the age of 40 possible? Of course it is; why do you ask? My guess is that you’re a woman in your 40’s (or perhaps approaching 40) and you’ve recently noticed some changes in your physical appearance. Maybe you’ve gained some weight, or perhaps you’re starting to notice fine lines around your eyes and mouth. The skin on your chest, arms or legs appears thinner and perhaps has the consistency of crepe paper. In addition to the changes in your physical appearance, you may have also noticed that you’re more easily tired out than you were a few years ago.

So now you’re wondering if you’ll ever be able to re-gain a youthful appearance. Well, that’s up to you; if you have no desire to put forth a little effort so that you will feel and look both young and energized, the answer is probably “no.” If, however, you badly want to feel and look your very best during this next phase of your life, and you’re willing to make a few lifestyle changes, then yes – most definitely – you will re-gain your youthful appearance and have the energy you had a few years prior.

The first step to a healthier, happier and more beautiful you is making an attitude adjustment, if necessary. It’s important to realize that you can be anything you want, and age shouldn’t be a deterrent; know that you’re a capable and mature woman whose goals can be accomplished if you’re determined enough to make some necessary changes.

If your goal is to lose weight, it’s crucial that you understand the link between physical activity and weight loss. You see, cutting calories is no longer enough to have a lean, toned and healthy body. This is due to the fact that as you get older, your body is working hard to convert your consumed calories into fat to make up for the declining levels of estrogen you’re experiencing as you approach menopause. You absolutely need muscle to burn calories and gain some tone, therefore, it is a necessity to exercise regularly, incorporating weight training into your workout routine.

If you’re feeling sluggish, no doubt exercise is going to give you so very much energy, but it’s also important to treat your body well by consuming foods that are healthy, such as fruits, dark leafy green vegetables and whole grains. Avoid white rice, potatoes and white bread, which can result in additional fat accumulation.

By treating your body well – through exercise and diet – your skin will also benefit and won’t sag quite as much as you begin to build muscle. As for the fine lines you may be noticing, there are so very many products available that will easily reduce the appearance of wrinkles, without necessitating the need for surgical or cosmetic procedures.

You see, you need not accept some of the changes that naturally occur as you get older. It is up to you to take care of your body, and by doing so you will be happy, healthy, fit and beautiful. I know from personal experience that anything is possible if you’re determined enough. Use your maturity – and the confidence that comes with it – to your advantage by accomplishing those goals which you set for yourself.
