There comes a time when we all need a little help to pull off the newest in seasonal looks. As we think back to the eternal beauty of Marilyn Monroe, Ava Garner, and the ravishing beauty of the young Elizabeth Taylor, we can see why we would love that look. As Summer blossoms from Spring, it’s time to take notes from all their looks that make these famous Hollywood beauties rock and turn it into your own unique fashionable hip style. Starting with:
Those luscious lips:
There a secret to spring’s bright lipsticks in lifesaver colors, bright reds, corals, pinks and fuchsias and more. You can put these colors on your lips as long as you do not wear them matte. These colors must have shine or this look isn’t going to be pulled off. Start looking into all of today’s beauty & fashion magazines and decide for yourself, “do those colors look better on me or her?” Who ever “her” maybe in the trendy magazine of today. Not every actress has a sense of taste or color, so remember that fact.
The confident look:
Ever heard of faking confidence? This is all about faking it till it becomes who we are. Remember it is all about attitude! When you look good, you will feel confident.
Be stylish:
Remember there is a fine line between looking polished, and confident style woman or a vulgar tart. Be careful. It’s how you pull off your own bold look without going over that fine line and then it’s “oh no” and wash it all off and try it again till you have it.
Cleansing-Back to basics:
As with all make up one needs to start with a cleansed, well-moisturized face. The idea today is to become chic and updated. You have got to think glamorous, as in movie star style (think Ava Garner, Marilyn Monroe). You are going to work on bringing their classic looks up to today’s standards.
The natural look:
Not all women want to work at the latest Gala with just a bare face and wearing lip-gloss. Not everyone wants to wear the l am all-natural look, some really do just love those trendy colors! This is not a look that requires you to wear foundation. By doing so you are taking this look back instead of bringing it forward into our time. That is why you need to stay away from those over plucked eyebrows as well.
The strong but seductive woman:
Start thinking about going for a time when women wore strong lipstick and dark eyes. This is not the type of woman who you messed with! She wears Teal eye shadow on her eyelids and Coral Lipstick with shine on her lips. Her strength shines through the colors. This is a look we all have secretly desired but never truly knew how to pull it off. Now here are some ideas of how to really pull it off without taking away from who or what you are. It’s very important to all women to be able to show just how strong we are, by what we wear to what we do and how we are seen by others. Some of us want to be in the back behind the scenes while others want to be in the front leading the way. Who do you want to be today?
Tips for those bold lips:
Why not try that on your own lips Coral or maybe even Fuchsia? Here is a simple trick to keep your lipstick color on your lips for a very long time. You could use lip liner but once your lipstick has worn off what is left? Lined lips and that just looks so tacky. Try this instead, apply a cream-based stick foundation over your lips and let it set for about a minute. The idea of waiting is you don’t want your foundation blending with your lipstick. After waiting, go ahead and put on your favorite bright lipstick, the cream foundation will help keep your lipstick in place.
Are you worried about your lipstick feathering on you? Then line your lips with a wax pencil; there are a few great ones out there today.
This is one very powerful but simple look that anyone can try, starting with spring and going right into summer lipstick colors. Summer colors are anything but quiet these days!
Don’t forget those nails:
To make this look your own you must wear your fingernails with simple nudes or French manicure. Remember the idea is not to over do it. If you still feel the need to wear bright red or pink, then do it on your toes, who is going to know? Mood nail polish is an even better choice of colors on your toes. Who knew that showing off your mood on your toes could be so much fun?
Besides with today’s fashion craze, wearing open toe shoes with a splash of color can really help pull off of the beauty of a pair of the most up to date stylish shoes.
All you are really doing is making sense of the power of true beauty, yours.
Take charge with style:
Now for the woman who is going to be the CEO of her own company: It’s time to find power within yourself, starting today!
With your mind & body filled with confidence you can walk by the hall mirror and you say to yourself “Damn! I look good!” Then you have pulled this look together and made it yours. Start today by taking charge of who you are and what you are, the latest powerful woman is born!

While it is true that a nose job is one of the most common forms of plastic surgery, there is more than just one procedure. This brings us to the subject of closed nose job.
Closed Nose Job Procedure
When choosing plastic surgery, it is important to have all of the information and options for your type of procedure presented to you beforehand. This is especially important with a nose job. A nose job is a procedure where the surgeon forms or shapes the nose to a desired position. In performing a nose job procedure, surgeons have two choices on how to proceed: open nose job or closed nose job.
An open nose job is by far the most common technique used to cosmetically (and medically) correct issues with the nose. In an open nose job, a small incision is made in the columella, which is the small column of skin that separates the nostrils. When this incision is made, the surgeon is able to lift the skin off of the nose exposing all of the tissue underneath including the cartilage. Surgeons find this easier to work with than a closed nose job, as they are more easily able to see all of the nasal structures. They can also work on the nasal tip cartilage in its natural position, making it easier to see how the final result of the surgery will come out. The biggest disadvantage to this surgery is the little scar left on the outside of the nose in the columella, though it does heal to an unnoticeable size in most people.
A closed nose job, on the other hand, leaves no external scarring. All of the incisions made with a closed nose job take place internally through other openings in the nose, and some feel that it heals more quickly. A closed nose job is better for nasal surgery that requires less extensive shaping and work than someone who would need open nose job. It is not recommended for extensive reconstruction or surgeries that require a lot of work done on the cartilage at the tip of the nose. The two biggest advantages to closed nose jobs are the lack of any scars, and usually, a shorter surgery time.
Only your board certified plastic surgeon will know for sure whether an open nose job or closed nose job is the right surgery for your nasal needs. Be sure to consult with your doctor and weigh the options carefully before choosing a type of nose job. If you have your heart set on a closed nose job and your surgeon feels it is not right for you, a second opinion is always a good option. Just be sure to feel completely comfortable with your choice before proceeding.
